Lore Design is a boutique interior design
studio located in New York City specializing in
residential projects.
Karen Loc is the founder and lead designer of Lore Design. Her spaces promote oneness and expansion with emphasis on natural light and ageless materials.
She finds the balance between the aesthetic and functional needs of her clients to arrive at a seamless solution. Taking a mindful approach, every detail is imbued with beauty, integrity, and intention.
Karen aspires to be the guiding light in the home design process so her clients experience calm and ease throughout.

Karen’s professional design experience spans boutique hospitality, workplace, new developments, and high-end residential.
She has worked for esteemed firms like Tihany Design, Rafael Vinoly. Architects, and Meyer Davis. In 2018, Karen was the Design Director at Morgan Stanley leading workplace design projects across the globe.
She graduated from Pratt Institute studying Interior Design with a minor in Art History. She lives in New York City and enjoys healthy cooking, fitness and reading.
